Fall 17 gospel meeting available online

Our fall 2017 gospel meeting with Gary Kerr recently concluded. It was an excellent series of lessons concerning the origins and claims of the Bible. If you are curious about the historical accuracy of the Bible, its continuity over time or the translation process, recordings of the lessons are available on our YouTube channel. Thanks to Gary, his wife and everyone from the community for spending time with us during this lesson series!

Fall gospel meeting quickly approaching!

Our gospel meeting starts Sept. 17 with Gary Kerr out of Bowling Green, Kentucky. He's got 6 great lessons lined up for Sunday-Wednesday. We will meet at our regularly scheduled times on Sunday and then 7:00 p.m. Monday-Wednesday.

The public is welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you there and to hearing some great lessons! Recordings will be posted to our YouTube channel if you are unable to join us any evening.

Singing was a success

Our 3rd annual singing was a great success. We had 143 Christians representing 14 congregations join us in singing praises to God on July 15. If you missed this edifying event (or want to revisit some of your favorite songs), we broadcasted the event on YouTube.

Thanks to the six area song leaders and all the volunteers who helped with organizing, parking, cleaning, distributing songbooks, etc.

River Ridge now on Facebook

The River Ridge church of Christ is now on Facebook! This outreach tool will be used to share sermons, events and interact with the Evansville/Newburgh community. Don't forget that we are also live on YouTube for every class and worship service!

Our upcoming singing is also listed on Facebook. We had a great response last year (over 130 attendees) and look forward to meeting many more members of the local community this year. Join us July 15 from 2:30-4:00

Celebrating 50,000 minutes of viewing on YouTube

Our YouTube channel hit a major milestone on May 27 - 50,000 minutes of viewing! This channel has proven to be a great resource for both our own members and those in the community as we seek to spread the gospel.

This is a joint accomplishment for everyone involved in the channel - those running the cameras  for our classes and services, those uploading episodes of Study the Word and everyone who has promoted the channel to family, friends and even fellow members.

Our channel features playlists for recent classes, previously aired episodes of Study the Word and gospel meetings, so take a look if you haven't visited before. Lord willing, we look forward to another 50,000 minutes of teaching and preaching on this platform.

Spring 2017 gospel meeting recordings now available

Our recent gospel meeting with Brian Sullivan was very edifying for all involved. Brian delivered a powerful series of lessons centered on how and why God's word has been preserved for us. If you weren't able to attend or just want to revisit one of the lessons, the recordings are now available online:

Brian's outline is also available for download. It contains many verses and citations not included in the videos.

Previous bulletin articles available online

Previous editions of our weekly bulletin, Study the Word, are now becoming available online. They are being uploaded into the blog on this site and can easily be searched by subject. You can also subscribe to receive updates or share them via social media (FaceBook, Twitter, Pintrest, Google+).

This is just another tool that we have available to spread God's word with the lost and dying world. Check it out and see what you think. Please pass any suggestions to Daniel.

With the diligent effort of two of our members, the church's YouTube channel is expanding to include previous episode of our TV program, "Study the Word". This is a continual effort on the church's part to spread God's word by way of various media. We hope you take advantage of this and the ongoing live streaming of our worship service to feed upon God's word (Jer. 15:16).

DVD copies can also be mailed if desired. Feel free to contact us at 812-490-6917 or at info@riverridgechurch.org .
