Continuing our evangelistic efforts

As many know, our longtime evangelist Chuck Bartlett has amicably left his position at River Ridge after 11 years to work with a congregation near St. Louis, Missouri. We wish Chuck and his wife Debbie well in their new endeavor - they were both strong Christians and good friends to many during their time in Indiana.

With that said, rest assured that the evangelistic work of this congregation continues (Acts 8:4):

Preaching and teaching: Our normal schedule of classes and services will continue at River Ridge. They will primarily be taught by our members, though area preachers may also participate from time to time.

Bulletin: The weekly bulletin will continue to be printed and mailed. It will feature a mix of older articles and new ones.

Television program: The weekly TV program will continue to air. Chuck has provided the station with enough programs to get through March 2020.

Radio program: We are currently negotiating with WEOA over the future of the radio program and will make an announcement shortly.

We appreciate your patience over the next few weeks and invite you to see that the gospel is still being boldly proclaimed (Acts 28:31).

5th annual singing approaching July 13 2:30-4 p.m.

Our 5th annual congregational singing is quickly approaching. Please join us Saturday, July 13 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. for an afternoon of uplifting, acapella singing.

Last year, 146 people representing 16 area congregations gathered together to offer praises to God. A handful of people also joined us online. If you missed the event or want to revisit the songs, the recording is posted on our YouTube channel:

Join us every 4th Sunday for a singing service

"For this I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations, and sing praises to your name" 2 Samuel 22:50.

The public is invited to join us the fourth Sunday of every month as we fellowship in a singing service. These services happen at 4 p.m. in the afternoon. As always, this event will be broadcast through our YouTube channel as well.

Join us in this uplifting opportunity to sing praises to God!

Thanks for attending our spring 2019 gospel meeting

Thanks to everyone who joined our recent spring 2019 gospel meeting (ran March 31 - April 5). We also thank John Gibson of Athens, Alabama for conducting this series of relevant, thought-provoking lessons.

Accelerated Old Testament series continues 02/27/19

After a two week break, our fast-paced study of the Old Testament continues 02/27/19 at 7:00 p.m.! This series will resume in 1 Kings and covers one book per week. The goal is to provide a summary of each book and focus on broad themes that stretch across the entire Testament.

As always, this study series is open to the entire community and is offered free of charge. If you missed any of the earlier lessons, they are being posted online:

Weather delay - 02/10 services delayed to 1-3 p.m.
